Sam had been on her way back to her room when she heard a loud CLANG, two likely causes ran through her head in quick succession. The first was that the colony had been hit by a small comettoid, and the second was that someone had sent something large through the Time vortex.
Moving carefully to investigate she listened for the sound of escaping atmosphere.
Delirium had been on the lower levels chatting with the plants when she heard the noise, muffled though it was through the floor. She came up the ladder near the kitchen and stepped out in the hallway, looking up at the ceiling then down the hallways. Spotting James and Sam, she waved.
"What was that?" she asked, looking up at the ceiling again. "Was that bad?"
"I don't know yet, but it sounds like something might have hit us. Let me check something first though," stepping into the medical lab, Sam quickly checked to make sure nothing had come through the Time Vortex. Finding nothing beyond the swirling vortex she stepped back into the corridor.
"hmm, I will probably have to go EVA then and check to make sure we're not leaking air."
