No... no, no, no, no. This was bad. A second ago, he was opening the vault of a mobster, and now, he was stuck in a room overlooking space. What the hell kind of vault was this!? Turning around... the vault door was gone. Did he walk through a teleporter? Did this mob boss actually have that kind of technology?
Red X took a deep breath. Sure, he was surprised, but he wasn't going to panic. For all he know, however, this could be some kind of space prison. A sting operation by the police, perhaps? Well... it would take more than a trap like this to take him down. He still had his suit, and a full cartridge of xenothium in the suit's reserves. However, he needed a plan. He wasn't going to bust into an unknown facility without any idea of what lay on the other side of that door. A quick thermal scan of the facility revealed a relatively low heat presence, indicating that it was relatively empty. Was the trap triggered while everyone was away? Good! Maybe he could loot the place before leaving. Unless, of course, the defenses were automated...
Damn. The shock of being sent to this place clear out of the blue... it was messing with his head. Red X shook the developing panic from his mind, and took a seat against the wall. He needed to gather his thoughts, before he did anything stupid. He closed his eyes behind his mask, and took a deep breath. "Great..." he said quietly. Maybe after a quick breather, he'd be able to come up with a plan. For some reason, he didn't think his stealth field generator would help right now.
Shit... even the Teen Titans would be a welcome sight.
