The last few days hadn't been anything unusual. Hanging out in space meant the occasional obnoxious bit of dust or rock hitting stuff, as he figured it. Maybe they'd crossed through the remains of a comet's tail, or something like that, who knew. But then the whole goddamn colony had been destroyed, and then everything was okay again, and now they were getting hit with more space junk and it was time that ended before any more CLANGs and BONKs and whistley, whooshing noises gave him a headache. So he'd called a meeting, and if no one showed up, then fuck it, they deserved to die. It wasn't like it made any difference to him. Well, except that teamwork was probably the only way they'd get out of here. And some of them were actually kind of okay. Maybe.
