"Robin I'm a little busy right now trying to solve the problem , to come to your lets put our heads together and solve the problem meeting. However one thing I might recommend you do if you're really worried about trying to avoid the next collision, is to tell ISES to fire our maneuvering thrusters for a few seconds. You can either change our trajectory or change our rotation rate. For myself I'm almost interested to see what happens if it kills us all again."

"Good idea, Sam! I was just getting there myself... I'll have to calculate how much we need to move to avoid the meteor, and what kind of movement would be the most efficient use of our limited fuel... I'll have to talk to Isis...." Robin shook his head. "...Yeah, I dunno, Sam, that's way too big of a risk to take. People have died and they haven't come back. And I dunno about you, but my death kinda sucked. I'd rather not go through that again, even if we could be sure it wasn't permanent. ......What are you working on?"

"You're right of course, it is entirely too big a risk to just sit around and wait.... I'm rebuilding the point defense system I came up with the first time around, and was a few seconds late bringing it online. I should be able to install it this time in a couple hours. It should be able to take out any threat up to about 500kg, and probably should be able to break up targets up to several times that mass. I'll leave you to your calculations."
