Shit. If things really were repeating themselves, which it sure seemed like they were, then that impact was the last one before the one that supposedly killed everyone, from what he remembered. Just to be sure, though, Church decided to take a quick step outside the airlock and see if it had hit in the same place the last one had-

And yep, there it was, the freshly-dug crater, and apparently Tex had decided to go check on it first. Which figured, really. She ignored everyone in the colony and was practically impossible to find, as was usual for her, and then the next time she showed up, she was looking at a rock. Typical.

He switched on the radio and tuned to their team band as he walked out across the ice. "Same one, isn't it?" he said.

"Looks like it," she responded without sparing him a glance. It was no surprise that he had come out here. He had been trying to be proactive about the crap going on here and being a 'leader,' so it made sense that he'd want to take a peek at this, too.

"You noticed the one that hit the other day too, right? Punched a hole in the room with the spacesuits and stuff? It's all repeating somehow." He came up to the edge of the crater and put his hands on his hips as he studied it with disapproval.

"You do realize how crazy that sounds, right?" Not that she was trying to disprove his words, but still. She shook her head and walked a few steps along the edge, away from him. "In the middle of space and a bunch of rocks take us out." The idea just didn't sit well with her, at all. If anything was supposed to kill her for good, it should be the damn aliens theyy were supposed to be at war with.
