aw, thanks! i should definitely collect all the pointe-shoe photos together. i'm not sure where, though.

i love taking photos in pointe shoes! they add a lovely bit of exotica, and when your toenails start feeling bruised you can stop -- nobody tells you to do more fouettes ;)

yes -- that's the idea of pointe shoes, anyway (ballerinas are so magical they rise to the tips of their toes all on their own)
