nighttime
hall light on
all other lights off
standing in a dark room 4 feet from the hall doorway, camera's aim perpendicular to that.

I second the great lighting. Thanks for the explanation... I get so frustrated over lack of natural light for pictures, but the lighting in these looks SO natural, it makes me want to experiment with artificial lighting some more.
Lovely and inspiring pictures as always.
