don't know what I'm doing, but I'm doing the best that I can

Who: [landofheroes], Name (Lithuania, open)
When: Day 3, just after announcement
Where: B3
Summary: Lithuania wanders the island, looking for his brothers and any friends or allies with whom he might team up.

Lithuania glanced down with a start as his PDA began beeping loudly, and he clapped his hands over it in surprise, terrified that it would give away his location. He hadn't found either of his brothers yet, or Poland, and he didn't like his chances alone. After a moment of indecision in which he realized that his fingers wouldn't stifle the sound, he pressed the key combination to unlock the device.

Immediately, the noise stopped. He breathed a sigh of relief.

And was instantly filled with panic again as he realized that on the screen were visible little blue dots labeled with names: Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Romano -- and, there: his own name. As much as Lithuania could see the others' locations, they could see him. He glanced over the PDA a second time, steadying his shaking hands enough to read it. Finally, his first moment of relief since this ordeal had started, he saw that a little south of his own location, was Estonia's name and an accompanying dot.

Finland, Lithuania noted, was with him. Well, he thought with grim determination, I have to go to my brother. Even if it means risking my own safety.

Maybe, he hoped graspingly as he adjusted his grip on the rucksack slung over his shoulder, Finland wouldn't be an enemy now as he had in the past. After all, he apparently hadn't harmed Estonia yet - was maybe even protecting him. And Lithuania didn't want to hurt Finland (unless he had to), just to protect Estonia. Yes, he could work things out so that they'd get along. He had to.

And, he reminded himself, tapping the crossbow strapped to his back, at least I have this, if worse comes to worse. That's got to count for something.
