Violence isn't always evil. What's evil is the infatuation with violence.

Who: [ das_vaterland ] Germany and [ gelatopower ] N. Italy. And anybody who wants to hustle to try and stop them.
When: Soon after the event announcement.
Where: C4; spot 26
Summary: Germany stumbles upon a familiar ally.

This was a disaster. Chaos, certainly, would result and despite having been a agressor in the past, Germany had definitely gotten over being perpetually on the offensive. Violence and warfare just didn't pay, unless you had to defend your life, your friends, or your people. How could the despicable people who invented this game even be able to promise those kinds of results anyway? Half his lands, half his people - gone? It isn't like they would just move away, or decide to suddenly stop being German! He would remain suspicious until he saw it with his own eyes.

Until then, however, he really didn't fancy being brutally murdered. It hurt, after all, and while he wasn't a particulary aggressive nation these days, he had his pride, and it didn't mean he couldn't be.  Nevertheless, here he was, crouched safely in the undergrowth, for now avoiding conflict.

A few beeps from the PDA interrupted his thoughs, and he looked down at it, seeing slowly blinking blue dots moving steadily across the map - towards larger blinking red dots. So those were the keys. His heart pounded a little as he saw the many, many blue dots south of him, all slowly heading to a blinking dot with the number "3" next to it. He was glad he wasn't down there; there was such a potential for brutality, and he felt a little ill wondering who was down there.

His eyes focused on his own location . . . and he froze, going as still as possible. There was another blue dot. . . and it was in his location. It was almost right by him! Germany stealthily, as quietly as possible, readied his blow gun. Perhaps he had an advantage . . . unless he had already been seen or heard! He swallowed, and hoped the other person didn't have a firearm.
