So after much procrastination and dreading the inevitable voluntary system crash, I finally broke down and reformatted my hard drive. As expected, it's like having a brand new computer again. Even managed to utilize 10 less gigs than before on the main hard drive

I'm hoping to have to avoid a reformat for some time now. I totally don't want to upgrade to Vista. I think it might be better to wait for the next OS upgrade, and see how that one turns out... skipping vista altogether.

It took like, what--six years for them to come up with Vista? Could be a long wait. Anyway, who's to say they won't screw up a good thing worse than they have the next time around?
