Good to hear your update on the computer thing. I've been fearful of Vista and wanting to avoid it. You've pretty much confirmed I made the right choice.
Glad to hear about your daughter finally getting the treatment she needs. How old is she? Some of the research I'm involved in (when I'm not on mat leave) is ADHD in adults. It's interesting stuff.
9. Of course this easily could have been diagnosed and treated five years ago when I first met her. I suspected as much back in a time where everyone else around her would deny it completely. I'm sure you know the earlier you treat something like ADHD, the easier it is to deal with. And she will have this disorder for the rest of her life.
Incidentally, she will receive a "comp" check of sorts from Social Security every month for as long as she lives.
That's rather sucky about the mic situation...but at least you've managed to sort everything out :3
Ah yes...there's always been some controversy regarding medication and children. Although Amber's meds helped her, I wished that she didn't have to take them...but she only had to be on for a few years...perhaps that will be the case for your daughter as well. But I'm glad to hear that the meds are working in her favour :3
