Soo..... if I wanted to watch the Chanel No 5 ad which I keep missing on tv.... where on earth could I download it from?

(god, I cant' believe I want to download a COMMERCIAL!! haha)

(and I slept in today, mwhahahaa)

While I'm here... am I really out of it, or does the word "Pimp" have other meanings besides being the boss of prostitutes?

I was trying to find it last night with no luck

I've been told that Pimp can be used for "cool" or "good with the ladies" or something. I think its US slang, I"ve never heard it here. I think its TERRIBLE, shouldn't be used for anything other than prostitution, the connotations are too awful!

I must admit it's been a wee while since I visited this site but try http://www.adcritic.com

If you don't find the one yer looking for, at least download the classic Toyota "bugger" advert for one of NZ's finest while yer there. :)

It wasn't there, but thanks!

And I think we have the "bugger" ads here too :)

It may be the same ad, although I'm not sure what the blue heeler dog it :)
It was said to be an Aussie ad, however the number plates on the ute were definitely local ones :)

You can find it by using p2p (peer to peer) programs such as Morpheus, etc. The most common one seems to be a 50 meg download so you can either let your modem tick over for quite awhile downloading it, or find somebody with ADSL and a flashdrive to get you a copy.

I've got ADSL, but no flash drive.

And hey... considering the age of this post you probably have it already.

I only managed to get a copy just last weekend and watched it on Sunday... no luck understanding what Nic and the Guy were saying to each other but it was still fairly enjoyable. Will have to wait for it on DVD so I can have subtitles ;)

Anyway, how are you? I noticed a comment on Kristy's post that you're having trouble with work?
(or you can email me I guess, this is a public post after all... even if it is a fairly old one)

You were supposed to check out my LJ MONTHS ago to see my cool Calvin moods... aren't they cool? :P

I was having some personal problems with the guy simply due to how he assigned extra duty shifts that were available for a specific job. I'd been asking for shifts for this particular job for awhile now, and I am more than qualified to do it.

When a whole hog of shifts came available he allocated them out "first come first serve" which of course was biased towards everyone except those on duty with him that day. 16 shifts were up for grabs, 10 of which went to two people that had only recently come to the place.

On a matter of principle I was going to put in a grevious report to the office based on lack of fair "work allocation and development opportunities" but something else has come up which I cannot get into, and because of this I will sit back and see how the dust settles first.

Well I'm very surprised you are talking about work (I thought that wasn't allowed?). Doesn't sound too good.

Probably more surprised that you read my lj and left a comment.. especially considering our last communication... so out of curiosity, any particular reason for that? (obviously not to comment on how cool my Calvin mood theme is, lol)
