So Sammy decided to get into the closet in our piano room, and climbed to the top shelf knocked the left over Easter basket onto the ground and ate the Plastic Easter Grass. Yes, ate! He was throwing up Easter grass and blood and not eating, so I took him to the emergency vet this morning

Yeah, cats will eat just about anything. I hope he's all right.

I think he will be fine, the vet said he thew up most of it, but there was still a large chunk in his stomach, so they wanted to pump his stomach.

Meh, if there's anything left, just keep in mind that old adage - and this too shall pass, LOL.

When I was growing up we had a German Shepherd and she ate everything from balloons to marbles to small rocks. Insane mutt, ha ha. But she was always okay. :)

Yeah he is fine, or at least getting better. They wanted to do "exploratory surgery" because they couldn't find anything in his stomach. My dad wasn't going to pay $4000 for them to cut Sammy open and look around just for kicks.

So we took him home, and today he is back to his normal self. Eating meowing and running around after Spooky. Silly cat!

But were still going to monitor him the next couple of days, just to be safe.
