Heh.  Some lovely random Facebook person sent me the first episode of the Ginger Wildheart radio show (the first one I recorded myself was episode 2).

Ah once again one of my favorite songs (the Devo one)! And "No Surprise" is one of those "deep tracks" that only the real die-hard Aerosmith fans tend to like, I'm always glad when someone plays a really obscure Aerotune. So does Ginger pick all the music himself or is it an equal effort between him and his co-host?

Yeah, I love Devo! I didn't know the Aerosmith song, I'm only familiar with the earlier albums.

Ginger picks most of the songs, and Rich Jones picks two or three per show. It's quite radically different to the other shows on the station, which are predominantly metal (he played Abba on yesterday's show, Christ knows what any emo kids tuning in would have made of that!). Ginger champions a lot of new bands, and also a lot of female-fronted bands, which I thoroughly approve of.
