the thing about bryn mawr, though..it is SUCH a beautiful campus and such a good school and i know nothing about holyoke but it's probably just as good in every way. EXCEPT, most people would think that since it's an all womens school it'd be pretty liberal and gay. however, it is relatively conservative. i mean not jesus freaks of course but it isn't like smith about gayness. does that make sense?

i'm posting from a ridiculously ancient LJ that's pretty much never been updated. but i'm rebecca dibrienza, bryn mawr '09. basically, this school is the best thing to ever happen to me. everyone is kind, helpful, supportive, friendly, and incredibly interesting. that includes students, professors, and deans. dorm life is awesome...all my friends live so close to me, and pretty much all of our residence halls have very convenient locations. and, um, they're pretty. i applied to holyoke too, and i much prefer the environment of BMC. bryn mawr is a great location.

plus, if you're into the sciences, both bryn mawr and haverford have incredibly good departments. my friend is a tour guide at haverford, so i've seen all their labs and stuff. so basically, you can take advantage of the facilities at both schools.

i really hope to see you in the fall. commenting on my LJ would be pointless, but i LOVE to talk about bryn mawr, so please IM me at xpeaceroxkerx if you have any specific questions.
