I really should know better than to trust nerd men on whether or not a film is good, rather than "mediocre with some good lines but overall self-indulgent and over-simplistic, relying on its unmentioned but immediately obvious and jarring Christian propaganda byline and entrenched masculinity/daddy issues to get an emotional rise from the audience

Yeah as soon as Charles was like "let's accept their hospitality!" Jess literally leaned over in her seat and whispered "they gonna die".

Yeah even if he didn't remember what happened at Westchester and how he nearly ended people in the hotel with his seizure, the fact that he couldn't remember they were being chased at that point was like, welp, Charles has lost his marbles.

That sounds deeply disappointing. (I like fiction about stabby rage-filled little girls, but this movie might be in the "Wait until it's inevitably on TV and i have time on my hands" category.)

Sucks about the cold and the gym bros.

I mean I am very much in the minority? Literally everyone else seems to have enjoyed this movie more than me.
