Finally! A huge-ass post of all the photos that were sent from the friends I made at Viet Nam. My camera was stolen, so I can't upload any of my own photos. :(
Thank you for taking so many wondeful pictures. It's just what I was looking forward to. I love the sunset photos - especially the one with the pink swirls on the horizon. Although the palm tree one looks just like Florida. The pictures of the Vietnamese towns themselves are incredible - I would have never thought it actually looks like that. It's a little sad and amazing at the same time. The food looks so yummy - we have a Vietnamese cafe here, but I am a little afraid to go, because I hear the owners aren't too friendly to non-Vietnamese (we have a large population of people from Vietnam here). And you look adorable - just so happy.
I am so glad you had this experience. When I go to China next year to study, I hope I will have a positive experience too. ^_^
And I saw that little friends-only thing; I was like WHAT? ERIKA DEFRIENDED ME? -cuts self- xD
:D I am not sure exactly where. It might not even be mainland China - it may be Taiwan, if the school so wishes. And while a part of me would much rather go to Taiwan (I love that country) another part of me wants it to be an experience - to see devolopment and struggle in a rising nation. :x So we'll see.
I wish it was possible to fuse smells with pictures -- it might be the fact that my eyesight is so bad, but I can remember how it smelled there more than I can remember all the sights and sounds. Some places smelled bad, like the fish markets, but usually it smelled...nice, like dirt, rain, spices, and a tiny bit of incense. Ha, sorry for rambling. ;)
