There were a lot of phrases in here I liked ("You're one-in-a-million? Congratulations! That makes you a dime-a-dozen, with $50 worth of you already in stock," and "It took until Copernicus for man to stop being the center of the universe"). Good work!

lol, I'm glad that you liked it. It really is interesting to consider just how many people that 6.5 billion really is. How many genetic variations are even possible? How many people out there would have the exact same DNA markers? Even if everyone doesn't have a biological twin somewhere, there are probably more out there than most would guess.

I think the last line is the key here. Everyone needs to feel good about themselves, but everyone also needs to recognize that it's never a one-(wo)man show.

Agreed. You need to like the one who looks back from the mirror, but anyone who really believes that the world revolves (or should revolve) around them alone has other issues.
