I am not much of a Martha Stewart fan but one of my student's mom works for her company. She sent me the Martha Stewart Holiday Cookie magazine and I have to admit it looks really good. I like the large photos and fairly simple directions. Hal and I picked out a variety of cookies to bake and we will try a few each weekend. Pretty cool.

Hal has a social studies project due on Nov. 10. He has a list of about 20 possible projects and the one he has chosen to do is "Make a replica of a Mesopotamian board game". I had a great time out with the kids last night. Dave took our nephew DL to a ballgame so the kids and I decided to go out to Ruby Tuesday for dinner at our mall. Jump Rope For Heart fund raiser at school today. Many of the teachers help out at the after school activity, myself included. Not only is it a ton of fun, but; I get to wear jeans to work. Hooray! Jeans at work make any day a better day.

you had two kids put in in-house suspension today. For what? For bringing a "shockpen" to school and using it on another kid during recess. The one who brought it snuck it down to recess and the other kid got hold of it and pressed it against another boy's neck and shocked him. It really hurt and left a red mark.
