Have you read the books at all? Despite the fact that they're totally the type of books I normally love, they confused the crap out of me! Too much made no sense, and it just irritated me that they never really explained a daemon.

I've not yet, however I did just place an order to read them. I have pretty diverse tastes, and would like to see the story based on the premise.

I was amazed at what pure drek they were, and I've got some pretty forgiving tastes. Alas, I seem to be the only ones who thought that :)

The Amazon.com reviews had some folks that agreed with you. At the same time, though, I'm really enamored with the whole concept. I don't have the slightest about the plot. Yet. ;)

I think the books are like this: one page long, and the only thing printed on it is "hey you know, drugs are pretty fun"

What are you doing these days? I checked your journal and just saw you in up to your elbows (or beyond) with blood. It looked like "fun." And when I say "fun," of course I mean "interesting." And when I say "interesting," of course I mean "ew."
