Oh you like NeoNATEology only because your name is in it you playa! Good for you though. OB/GYN was interesting for me in the South Bronx. I am not one that feels bith is a beautiful event. An exploding vagina is pretty traumatizing. What was scary was seeing how excited the mid-wife was when she got the placenta out and then invited dad over to TOUCH the bloody flesh that "gives the baby life!"
My ER rotation was interesting because I did more pelvics on this rotation than OB/GYN! I delivered a 3 month old tampon too!
I am glad to be working in medicine now after doing Interventional Radiology. Not because of the bloodiness but because I actually make a difference in people's lives now!
I'm up to 1.5 miles in under 12 minutes... Im hoping to get to 2 miles twice a day by the end of next week. Then I'm gonna start 3 miles once a day, then 3 miles twice a day until the 5k.
Hi Nate! Just wanted to thank you for writing such an inspiring blog! I recently decided to leave nursing for medicine, and I'm planning to apply to PA school next year. May I add you as a friend? Thank you.
