Oh you like NeoNATEology only because your name is in it you playa! Good for you though. OB/GYN was interesting for me in the South Bronx. I am not one that feels bith is a beautiful event. An exploding vagina is pretty traumatizing. What was scary was seeing how excited the mid-wife was when she got the placenta out and then invited dad over to TOUCH the bloody flesh that "gives the baby life!"

My ER rotation was interesting because I did more pelvics on this rotation than OB/GYN! I delivered a 3 month old tampon too!

I am glad to be working in medicine now after doing Interventional Radiology. Not because of the bloodiness but because I actually make a difference in people's lives now!

Welcome to the PA world!!

I'm up to 1.5 miles in under 12 minutes... Im hoping to get to 2 miles twice a day by the end of next week. Then I'm gonna start 3 miles once a day, then 3 miles twice a day until the 5k.

At the very least, I'll keep up with you ;)

Why didn't you mention the return of WS in this entry? This is way more important than your ER rotations.

Hi Nate! Just wanted to thank you for writing such an inspiring blog!
I recently decided to leave nursing for medicine, and I'm planning to apply to PA school next year. May I add you as a friend? Thank you.
