The Apartment Above the Boards, Tuesday Evening

Jono had spent the majority of his day after his broadcast and his trip to the Perk just sleeping. The last week had been tiring at best, and he hadn't done much in the way of sleeping through the whole ordeal. Or eating. Or anything that wasn't horribly draining in one capacity or another

Raven wasn't nervous. Not at all. She wasn't pausing for a moment after she'd arrived at the Boards and climbed the stairs to the apartment above, and she totally wasn't drawing in a deep breath to collect herself before rapping on the door.

Except for the part where she was. And then she was knocking.

And on the other side of the door, one might recognize the sound of a very large man making his way toward the door. With a slight pause somewhere along the way for a loud thump of a stumble, and then a few hissed curse words, and a meow in reply...

Jono looked maybe a little frazzled as he opened the door, Joni still winding between his ankles.

"Raven. Come in? Watch your step, Joni's being needy today."

"Joni!" Raven exclaimed in delight, more than happy to give the cat some attention. She bent down to scoop Joni into her arms and give her a kiss and scritch her behind the ears.

"I have missed you. We are not allowed to have pets in our dorms in New Gotham."

"It looks like she's missed you as well," Jono observed, smiling faintly as Joni attempted to headbutt Raven's face into submission. Loving submission. For cuddles. Fear them. "She gets plenty of attention, of course, but you are practically family. You did take care of her for me for quite some time, after all."
