I do not understand young teenage boys. I'm talking about the ones that are like 14 or 15. Why is it that a girl can tell them, to their face, that they are NOT interested in them emotionally, but the guy will still be completely and utterly convinced that he and the aformentioned girl are star-crossed lovers meant to be together forever and ride ( Read more... )

Yeah... my ex, the freshman, is fawning over this one chick who TOLD HIM she wasn't interested... it's a high-school thing I think. There will be a very pretty, flirtacious girl, often petite and blonde, who attracts a lot of boys she isn't interested in but doesn't know how to express said disinterest. To be fair, I lead a lot of people on too... I'm trying not to do that as much... but the problem with guys is that, unlike girls, if tehy don't know any better, they will assume a girl IS interested in them.

I went out with a guy 2 or 3 times, told him from day one that I wasn't interested and repeated that I wasn't looking for anything, many times. He still chose to think we had a thing. I had to sit him down and explain it all again, referring to the past times I'd said it... and he acted like we were 'breaking up'. You're completely right. Most girls will ask if the guy is interested before leaping to conclusions (or they'll just sit around and wait until interest is shown). It's sad. I wonder what age that stops.

I think it stops at about 17. Personally, I only date guys that are at least 18 and out of high school.

ya know whats even worse women (ususally under teh age of 18) who don't know what they want and think that sex is validation then again on the other spectrum theres women ( of all ages) that think sex is sacred and can't just fucking enjoy it for what it is
