my mom would get in fights with cashiers if they gave her lip for wanting paper bags instead of plastic.

i got her a canvas bag for xmas, hopefully this keeps her from further acts of bag aggression

I croched my mom a grocery bag for her birthday this summer! The trunk of her car is full of grocery bags for reuse.

My roommates were just telling me about some town somewhere in Europe that decided to ban plastic bags.

Lastly, I just read an editorial in the paper here by some douchbag who was pissed at even the idea that maybe grocery stores wouldn't give out bags anymore because he used them for his trash. He was absolutely devastated at the idea that he might have to buy trash bags. It was well-written, but geezo dude, think about someone other than yourself!
