It is my opinions that the Catholic church should not impose its dogma on victims of human trafficking, including restriction of abortion and contraceptive devices.

The ACLU is attacking the USCCB-imposed funding restrictions by the BUSH administration, not the Catholic church.

Sorry Katie, I gotta raise the BS flag on this. The Bush Administration did not impose any restrictions on the funding. The charity in question is using the money to help women in crisis. Victims of human trafficking do not have to seek the help of this charity if they don't want to. If they choose to do so, they will get help. The fact that they will not spend the money on Abortion or Contraception is not imposing any views. What would be imposing a view would be my tax dollars going to support things that I believe are harmful to women, and are government sponsored murder.

Bottom line is the Church isn't imposing any teaching. The women still have to seek the help of the crisis center, and no one is forcing them to go there. If they choose to go there, the help they get will be in line with catholic principles. But if they want to go somewhere else, more power to them. And the Bush Administration imposed no restrictions on this funding either.
