Very interested to hear more about Eugenia and Co. and see how they fit into the scheme of things. I've really enjoyed reading about Dreilide's character, and Socrata is a bit of a puzzle- sometimes it seems she's working out great, other times I find it difficult to reconcile the wife/mother we're seeing with the woman whp is going to one day slam her daughter's hand in a door frame.

I feel so bad for child!Kara right now even though she doesn't know it. This is such a different angle for backstory. Really enjoying it.

This is so painful, especially knowing what comes next for Kara and her mom. It doesn't make me feel any less angry at Socrata for not having her shit together or asking for help, but it does give me hope that Kara might someday be reunited with her dad.
