That's very Brennan, isn't it? Spoilers for next season have said that she comes back more "open," so I tried to work out a way for that to happen without ruining her character.

She came back to Washington with "I love you too" on her lips. She practiced saying it to everyone she met. To her taxi driver, it sounded like, "Keep the change. All of it." To the old woman in the park, it sounded like, "You have the most beautiful smile." To the stray brown puppy she rescued, washing and watering him in the bathroom of a gas station on her way to meet Booth, it sounded like, "Don't worry. I'll take you home with me, wherever home turns out to be." It wasn't.

Aaaaand my theory that the fanfic writers are doing it better than the actual writers continues to garner proof.

Hahaha. I'd like to believe that the actual writers desperately want to just compose episodes upon episodes of B/B fluff and are only restrained by Fox-the-Evil-Overlord.

FOX seems to be behind the damage to so many awesomesauce things.

Except for Glee, which sometimes seems to be its own worst enemy. And in many cases is probably an example of why shows should be more than fanservice.

In any case, more B/B fluff, but to an end, please!

I agree completely. Glee ought to get out of the way and be its own show, rather than trying to be what everyone else wants it to be. I've been looking forward to character development, but that seems to take a backseat to ... Er ...

Am I the only one who thought Finn needed to get a little brighter and Rachel a little less ... Rachel before they could get together? And now they're in love? I don't believe it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I'd be okay with PWP B/B porn, as long as I got to see David sans-shirt. (Ever since Angel took off his shirt in the first season of Buffy, I have never been the same.)
