“Hey Stitch, what do you think of this island?” Lilo asked as the two looked up at the stars while sitting in the hammock together. It was almost bed time but, the weather was warm and the sky was clear so the two misfits decided to sit outside for a while.
Stitch blinked his large eyes and cocked his blue head to the side in a way of asking Lilo what she was talking about so, the small girl continued to speak, “I think it’s like a big puzzle. And everyone is a piece of it that all links together to other people. Then, when all the pieces are put together, you get the whole island.”
“Ohana?” Stitch asked and Lilo smiled and nodded, “Yeah! The completed puzzle is the Ohana.”
The two of them sat together quietly, watching the stars twinkle above before Lilo spoke up again. “You know, Stitch. Before you showed up, I didn’t think my piece fit with any of the other ones. But ours link up together just right.”
“Ih,” Stitch nodded.
