Good. I hope she is happy there and all the chaos and dramah is over for you guys. Sounds like you worked hard on the room and the move and such. You two have put so much into her, I hope some day she can truly appreciate that.

She had a major meltdown late yesterday afternoon, her first day in the home. My partner said it was the worst he'd ever seen her. I guess all the stress of the move and being separated from her dog finally caught up with her. The staff at the home handled it really well, even when she was becoming physically aggressive toward them. In the end they gave her an injection of Haloperidol to calm her down.

As for Sammy the poodle; he misses his Mum, but seems to be settling in OK. Last night the whole menagerie slept peacefully on the bed with us (luckily we have a large bed!).

Sorry things are still in a ruckus for your family. At least now she has full time care and meds to calm her. Hopefully, in time, she will settle.

How sweet though, having all the "kids" sleeping together...:-)
