Yesterday I had an appointment with the surgeon who performed my knee operation. He said the knee looked good and was healing well. Since my job involves a lot of standing and walking, he signed me off work for another week

Thank you for your thoughts. My knee is getting better by the day, so I'll be returning to work next week. It won't be too much of a shock to the system as I'll only be working 4 hours a day for a couple of weeks.

The weather is really lovely today - bright sunshine and quite warm. Spring is nearly here!

How are you? Did you enjoy your trip away?

Spring is my absolute favoritest season..I can imagine it's glorious there..NZ could probably have a color of green named after it from the pictures I've seen! We are having what we call Indian Summer here..Our summers begin in June and can go on until the end of October.
Went to the Lake for 4th of July and it was fun. (I posted some videos on my journal).
We are going again for a couple of days in a week and a half, but this time we are getting a room at my request instead of camping. Just don't want to deal with the poison oak nor the wasps at this time of year, not to mention the heat. Four or five days camping just wore me out.
I planned it so I'll have an extra day to regroup before returning to work.
I'm glad you are easing into work and getting to enjoy the nice weather.*
