Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior
Beautiful Boxer

I recommend you do the same. Be patient with the second one; the bookend reporter scenes are abysmal, but the film itself is pretty captivating.

I really recommend Beautiful Boxer. It's awesome. Picture this: a transvestite who is drawn to Muay Thai by the beauty of the fighting style, beats a lot of tough guys up, and then uses the winnings to pay for her sex change operation.

thank Jebus for Ong Bak, which will hopefully remind people that there can be incredible fight scenes that depend on nothing more than human skill and good old-fashioned stunt work. I'd be perfectly happy to see the parade of Matrix-cloned wirework-and-CG faux fights go away. the Ong Bak scenes are just so much more visceral and satisfying.
