Errr... Help!

So the school i work in is closing at the end of the year to become a 'learning center' (don't ask) in a shiny new building with state of the art facilities yadda yadda.

So this week at parents evening the head comes over and asks if i am going to apply for the head of RE job, as the head of the new place had asked her if I was interested. Now ( Read more... )

Damn straight you should.

A friend of the family is an exceptionally good teacher who made head-teacher in 5 years. She taught me a couple of things: firstly, you'll never learn to do the next job up by sitting around watching someone else do it - you just have to get stuck in, and secondly - that the worst that can heppen is that you don't get it. In that case, you've lost nothing.
