i guess la wasn't meant to be. after persistent phone calls and one last e-mail, i, for the second time in my life, got rejected from ucla. well i got waitlisted which is pretty much a 'soft rejection'. actually i feel that acceptances without funding are also like soft rejections. here is the final score card
