i don't hold my pencil the "proper" way either. while my handwriting is legible at best, it's definitely not good. and because of the way i curve my wrist when i write with my right hand, everyone thinks i'm using my left. that irritates me.
Yeah, my grip is often compared to the grip of those that write with their left hand. Except I don't smear the page as I write. Is it a comfortable position for you? Does your hand get tired? I've found that I am a tad slower than most people, for example.
And hi to you, too. I'm still loving those lips in your icon.
it used to be comfortable and i could write forever with no problem (maybe not forever, but i wasn't really timing myself). this past two or three years, though, my hand cramps up within ten or fifteen minutes. i've tried holding my pen the "correct" way but i just can't write like that! i've tried to teach myself but it's taking a very long time.
and i do smear the page. i try to be very careful with what type of ink i use, and since my work involves mostly filling out forms and not writing paragraphs, i write from the bottom of the page up, left to right.
i write slowly, too, so people can read it. if i speed up it's no better than giving an infant a crayon. :1
I wonder if it was just me that felt that, while the movie had a good point to make, they totally exaggerated everything to make utter propaganda out of it, you know?

You should post about that sometime.
And you know, I almost wouldn't blame your coworker. Remember the dude in the movie? The one that ate about a billion Big Macs. He didn't touch the fries and didn't have any gut on him. A few winters ago I discovered hashbrowns and made them all the time and totally gained weight. Damn those starches.
Eh, sometimes it does gross me out a bit, too. But sometimes, well, there's a good reason while they're the most powerful fastfood chain on the face of the planet. Maybe they fill every burger with a big, hefty serving of cancer, but they sure as hell make it taste good. And, again, sometimes it's only for the first few bites, since if I eat more than a couple I'm in gross-out city. But yeah. Hi. =)
Hey there, Kylie. Man, it's been forever, hasn't it. I don't think you and I have talked really regularly since, what, about 2002? Gosh, it's been awhile. Sorry I've been so... missing from the whole LiveJournal thing. I'm going to try and be good and be back, though.
I am not really here much anymore either. You did have a big impact on my life and influenced some major events in my life back in 2001-2002.I have grown a lot... 20 now! whoo. do you use messengers?
Hey there. Have I ever told you just how much I love your icon. It's about fifty-thousand levels of cuteness. Do you know what it's from? I had originally thought maybe some sort of J-Pop something or another, but really, I'm not sure. So what's the countdown at for being free from high school?

My coworker refuses to eat the fries. If you are what you eat, wouldn't the fries help preserve you??? :)

I'm online as 'eyanscot' a fair bit. Not always at my desk, though.
How about you?
