I still like Ayastsuri Sakon in the mystery/detective genre, and I still have to watch the Poirot and Marple anime series. Detective Conan's become another Inuyasha or Tenipuri series, hasn't it? :D

Densha Otoko renews my faith in humanity. I feel so bad for the main character; he's such a nice guy and everyone picks on him.

Suprisingly, I recognize many of these drawings. Who you coloring them for? Ivy?

Still can't bring myself to watch Poirot and Marple. If only that main character girl didn't look so Mary-Sueish...hm. Poor Conan. They better give it a better ending than Inuyasha, or I will be quite disappointed. Haven't really seen Ayastsuri Sakon around anywhere. I know you've told me about it before and I would like to pick it up once I do find it. ^_^

Densha Otoko is a tribute to the power of the online community. In real life, everyone is nasty to the main character because he's a shy otaku geek (which makes me sad because he's a lot like me). Online, however, he bonds with people who, although they've never actually met him in person, are willing to give him advice, cheer him on when he needs support, and ultimately become his real "family." It's kinda corny, but it makes me happy inside. ^^;

Haha, Jess-bum knows how the manga projects die. She's never around anymore, though. Yeah, I need to do something for Ivy, but I think she'd want something cuter than what I have right now. -_- A little kid in a penguin shirt???

I don't mind canon sues (such as Kairi) too much as long as the rest of the source material is interesting, though it depends on the level of their annoyingness. Miaka ruined FY for me, but Nuriko was awesome so that's basically what I read fic for.

I have a couple episodes of Sakon, though I deleted the first three due to the decapuliation scene that freaked me out. I told you, I can't handle horror of any kind. And yet I want to be a doctor... ^^;

That sounds so cute! Eee, I want to see it now. There really should be an easier way to swap anime/TV shows.

Kairi = TEH EVIL. But I know what you mean. As long as Riku is there, TEH EVIL can be endured. Ah, the resolute heart of a fangirl can overcome all obstacles! (strikes a corny pose)

Heh, I've heard "House" is pretty gory sometimes, too. But you still like that show, too, right? ^^

I can send you "Densha Otoko" over AIM sometime, if you want. It will just take a really long time coz my computer is so slow.

Exactly! It's awful to see our characters in the clutches of those Sues. Though I actually don't mind Kairi, and she's certainly better than Miaka, Usagi, or Sakura. The life of a fangirl is full of trials. XD

House is medically gory. If I can't stand that, how can I hope to be a doctor? Horror gory is a different level.
