Alice

I know some of you like her, and are actually obesessed by her. Listen here. She adopted the neo-modern loser goth lifestyle because she thought it was cool. She adopted a style of music that other people listen to so that she fits in with them. It is a fad. A popular youth trend that you are being sucked into. Look at them, are they different? No ( Read more... )

i guess we all know that already. its human nature- do what you can to fit in best. did you know that most 'gay' people only do it to fit in? very few people are actually medically gay (AND YES THIS INCLUDES YOU BISEXUAL PEOPLE). so there you go.

so theres not really much more i can say except youve made a good point and anyone who thinks otherwise to this should be shot..or change their minds, either way. vote 1 capitalism!

Ok, Alice first... I don't like Alice cause I think she's cool or because I pity her. What she does is really her own business. But I always remember her as a girl in primary school when all her friends rejected her (probably something bizzare she did that made her not fit in) and so I befriended her. I still enjoy talking to her because I see that girl underneath all the makeup and shock treatment, you can still see some of who she is in her eyes. I know it's fustrating when some one is abnoxious or does something to get attention but she's still a person (bloody hell, your sister ( ... )

OK don't take this the wrong way, I really have no explanation. But that comment to connor cracked me up O.o
Really though, there are cases of people adopting homosexuality for the same sorts of reasons for adopting any other lifestyle. I swear some people use it or metrosexuality to get chicks :D

well I can understand ppl pretending to be gay to get chicks but I don't think that it actually counts then. By gay I guess I meant is attracted to the same sex and is physical with them, not just dresses and acts like the stereotype. Oh yeah and Connors comment cracked me up too (I'm just one of those psycho activist types :D )

heh. dont worry, youre entitled to feel or think whatever you want. i was reffering more to the females generally, because its different socially. i just found it funny how suddenly a good proportion of a group of people were suddenly claiming they were bi, because there is definately no way 'being bi' as a female makes your life harder. get what i mean? you didnt actually cross my mind at all when i said that keegan (which is not to detract from your alternative lifestyle in any way).

still, i stand by my point. its pretty similar to being a goth because when a person 'becomes' a goth, they risk a lot of ridicule etc from other people, yet they still do it because it "makes them different", and in another way lets them fit in somewhere. a goth can be happy like that, just like someone who is gay can be happy living like that. i was just trying to make an interesting paralel (and maybe cause an argument aswell). i dont ACTUALLY have a problem with homosexuality in anyway, it makes no difference to me.
