Rant about "the system" and the season

Okay - so get this... for my medicine (the ones that cost an arm and a leg a month and if I had to cover on my own would require a whole 'nother job [$2048.58]) I have ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program). Basically I get my meds covered and only have a small (if any co-pay). They also tend to cover some forms of birth control, antibiotics, etc.

Hummm you sound as if you have a similiar resistance or lack of results as I do to Claritin. My allergies only get to me here in the spring (all two weeks of it in the high desert). May suggest this as an idea. The Claritin may be working but at a much lower level than expected. Doubling up on it can cause liver and kidney damage so that's out; however, Drixoral can help when piggybacked with Claritin.

BTW, did you ever see my reply about fencing (my LJ)?

Also, yes did see the fencing reply. I meant to reply back, but things got crazy. Anyhow, I live near San Fernando, and work in Culver City so during the week it'd be a bit of a hike to get up to the AV. Although, I am looking to move in September and AV is one of the possibilities, so we'll see.

I wasn't aware that there were different styles of fencing. Do they use different swords as well? I'm very much interested regardless, though I obviously don't have any equipment yet.

There are practices in the LA and Burbank to note the closest ones. Our Sunday morning practice (9 to noon) is practically right off the 14 freeway in Lancaster, but I also know that given gas prices, that's a long (costly) drive. If you do move up here, please let me know
