I struggle with low iron too- I was just going to suggest spinach! I have yet to figure out how to keep my iron levels high enough, there just does not seem enough time in the day to eat all the kinds of (expensive, hard to prepare) foods you're supposed to.

A friend of mine, a health care worker, went to that conference and said it was insane in a good way- she came back with a lot of good information. I'll be working more extensivly next year with an HIV/AIDS community so hopefully I'll be able to go to some conferences too!

I'll go with you next time!! (Well, as long as you pay and it's not during the school year.) =)

Iron pills give you weird poop. (I took them before my back surgery.)

I second Mike's statement that I'll go if you pay to get me there. ;-) In all seriousness though, if you ever attend one on my side of the country I'm there!

My iron gets low often as well. (My being tired used to make my Mom worry about MS but it hasn't seemed to be that yet.) It sux to be so tired. Reading your post reminded me I should start taking my iron pills again because I've been falling asleep mear hours after I return home from work and couldn't figure out why. Doh! I'm definatly the sped sis on that one.
