Will I lose my dignity, will someone care?

If you haven't noticed, I've been pretty quiet as of late. In my personal blog I'm just starting to write again, but it's still a challenge to write here. It's not that I don't have things to write about or things I want to talk about. It is just that I'm having some sort of block in writing. I can compose entries in my head on my drive home, ( Read more... )

No problem; let it simmer and we'll be here when you're ready. I'm very interested to know where you might be leading if you do "go there", but we just have to respect your privacy if you decide that's best. (Not to mention that I've never been successful in using the powers of my mind to force somebody to post. I probably shouldn't have tipped my hand and told you that, though.) :)

I lived for nearly 15 years with writer's block anonymous October 20 2006, 15:42:49 UTC
I am touched by your frankness. I, too, went through writer's block, partly because of other committments, but mostly for the reasons you listed above. If I can in any way offer you a nudge to write anything at all, let me do so. Your voice is far too powerful and needed in this world. I hope you can sit down again soon and just share....that is all it takes to start. I will also be thrilled if you would submit anything you write to the International Carnival of Pozitivities via the homepage at www.internationalcarnivalofpozitivities.blogspot.com. My writer's block kept me home and isolated. It was through getting involved with the British film crew 1 Giant Leap that I found my voice with passion. In the Spring, their new film will be released and I understand that it will contain a "powerful" segment including my interview about living with HIV/AIDS. It just goes to show what can be accomplished by just saying, "I am..." and letting that be a start. I am....with you.
