I would have told them the truth, but...listen, Remington said I had to keep it a secret. He said Rosette could get kicked out of the church. I promised to keep it a secret.

You're not a villain and I don't want to portray you as one. I made a mistake and I don't want you or Rosette to have any consequences of it.
