I was hoping to get Petunia's jealousy over, and that she was doing her utmost to drop Lily (and James) in it, so thank you for mentioning both! I'd wanted to do it in a humerous way, but I think that would need more of a build up than 800(ish)words would allow. I can just imagine Petunia doing all she could to make Vernon venture towards a bit of 'Percy filth' and him flustered and pushing her away!

HAHA! I really enjoyed Petunia's jealousy. Its funny how she didn't have the guts to actually say what she felt to her mother- Poor her. Hahaha. And Mr. Evans being uncomfortable. :)

I especially liked how James dreamt they'd name him Percy. Awesome!

Write more, please! :) You said you don't feel comfortable writing other characters, but you do choose well how to write them, and the little snatches you provide tell of them more than many words ever will.

It's funny that James thought Lily wanted to name their child Percy. Imagine that.

Gosh yes! Imagine knowing that James was doing such wonderful things to someone else and being stuck with the red faced, shiny headed, pot bellied arrogance that was Vernon. No wonder she didn't believe in "Percy filth" before marriage!
