Man I saw hardly any movies in the theater in 2006. I'm dissapointed with myself. What did I see?

lucky. me and rachel wanted to see American Hardcore but it only played in the indie theaters, and we live in the cultural wasteland of worcester. and im surprised to say, i think i just might have seen as many movies as you, possibly more, i dunno its hard to remember which were this year.

anyway, how was American Hardcore?

Yeah I saw a bunch of movies I haven't seen cause I'm doing Netflix now, but those are just the ones I've saw in the theaters. My parents see more movies than me, but still there's a lot of crap out there.

American Hardcore was good. I think it's exactly what you expect to see. Made me wish there was a scene here.

theres not really a scene anywhere anymore sadly. it's hard for there to be any type of underground community to music anymore, cause every band just puts up a myspace and adds other bands all over the country as their friends, so it's alot more widespread. in some ways its good, but i miss having a sense of community.

i saw the Pursuit of Happiness with Rachel the other night. it was actually really good. I'm just looking forward to the next Harry Potter though. It'll be the first time i've read one of the books before seeing the movie so i'm excited to see how they'll do with it.

Oh me too! I just bought Harry Potter books 2-4 last night. I can't wait for Order. Dumbledore's Army is gonna kick ass. :D
