but! it wasn't totally the canucks' fault...can't lay ALL the blame on shitty playing. ^__^ because i mean...they kept getting all these penalties and NO ONE called the Wild! ARRRGH. evil biased people.
i know there were quite a few of the wild penalties that the refs didn't call. like the too-many-men one..that was bullshit. but then again, the nucks wouldn't have done much with the powerplays anyways, since they were all tired and didn't seem like they wanted the game at the beginning of the third. they just totally shut off comgin out from the locker room after the 2nd intermission.:( but yeah, maybe everyone was bribed to let the wild win so they would make big money from sportsaction or something
They only did draw two penalties.. but you are right, there has been a bit of a seemed bias in the penalty calling in the West. As much as the Toronto fans will complain about the calls in their series, I feel it's deserved - there were more than enough penalties that weren't even called. However, with the Canucks/Stars, the Wild and Ducks get away with murder

I think this is the statement that best defines a lot of the playoffs, if not tweaked a bit. Rather, the hockey gods were with the destiny of the Wild and the Ducks, two of the three lowest seeded teams in the playoffs were to win. I think after the Ducks won, the Wild had it in the cards. That's just the way this year seemed to go.
Jovo has a physical and offensive prescense that the Canucks need and use well in their offense. Do I think he should be the best defenceman on their team though? No.
yeah. hockey involves a lot of skills, but the game definitely has a whole lotta luck involve in it too. I mean, why else would us hockey players be so superstitious if there weren't luck involve
