So.. I'm back at work again. Same place, different day, nothing's fundamentally changed.

I've been catching up all the consumables that haven't been replenished, and $5.5k later, no end is in sight.

So tired.

Yeah.. I had a conversation about that today.

He was telling people that I was on an extended leave of absence.

I was telling people that I was trying to get out of the industry because of the &!&* bad taste he left in my mouth. There's more, but that'll be a friends post if I do write it down.

There is an advantage: you know that they need you materially more than you need them. It buys quite a bit of mindspace and you can press some dangerous - but needed - topics: what are they gonna do? Fire you?
