So my neighbor officially qualifies as a stupid criminal. He left a note on my windshield yesterday, "Please move over to your parking stall. I unload tools from my truck and don't want to fuck up the side of your car."
And today I was taking pictures of damage to my car.
It's amazing because I left it parked permanently there over the winter, and nothing was said. Presumably, he's being doing this daily for a year or more I've been there. Now he's fighting me for my spot because he has or has a friend with an SUV.
I love vandalism as an intimidation tactic.
And the best part is, 10' away in the lobby, on both walls, is the map with the designated spots. And the number is painted on.
I'm probably going to just leave it there permanently now because I don't feel like playing that game where you watch it like a hawk and see how long you can hold onto it for. I'm hoping it turns into a frequent and daily occurrence.. And the letterhead he wrote it on really is his employer, and that he's driving a company truck.
"Dear Sir/Madam:
Recently, your employee, driving this xxxx, plate xxxxxx, left this note on my windshield (attach scan). I was wondering if your insurance covers damage inflicted on my vehicle (insert dated pics) moving tools to and from his vehicle, a place of work as defined by Alberta Employment Standards? For your reference, this is police file number, XXXXX. Hopefully the dates can help you track workplace incidents."
That's probably all wishful thinking though. Here's hoping stupid asshat gets a clue.
