not pigging out was a big part of it - i cut out soda and fried foods and just limited my portions. i threw everything out in my dorm room that was junk food or something that i'd just eat when i wasn't even hungry. i took classes at the gym at my school because when i work out by myself, i stop when it hurts.. but with the classes, i have to keep up with the instructor and the other people and i really can't stop.
if you drink soda, stoppp because even after a few days of not drinking it, i felt 100% better.
if i was hungry i snacked on celery with a little bit of peanut butter, apples, grapes (fruit in general). veggie sandwiches from subway are soo good and a 6 inch is only like 240 calories!
basically i just ate better, and ate LESS. i stopped when i was full and i didn't let myself get to the "omg i'm so full i'm going to puke" stage. haha.. its hard though because food can be sooo good. :(
oh, and i walked everywhere! my campus is pretty big and i used to drive to class a lot, but i just walked. and i took the stairs instead of the elevators. haha i dont know if that helped me or anything, but mentally i felt like i was doing something! :)
