It may be time to change

Ever since I've had access to computers, I've had a calendar and address book on one, including big main frames in the old days (OK, not when my only access was punch cards, but after that). As I've switched computers, I've converted the data to each new machine, and it looks like it may be time to do it again. I've had my calendar/address book on ( Read more... )

I just got an iphone and have my address and calendar on a Palm Zire, so I face the same problem (challenge). I'll follow your lead when you get a solution.

Good luck. Mark & I use "ClearSync" to keep our calendars in sync, and they've got an undocumented feature that allows you to dump the calendar in iCal format. I haven't found any easy way to dump the calendar by using the Palm Desktop.

wait, so I really am never going to be able to use those old 7 inch floppy discs with papers I wrote on volkswriter ever ever again??? I should get rid of those discs... one of these days.

I drag my old Palm address files with me from computer to computer even though it's been a long time since I've had a Palm! I'm amazed at how obsolete and outdated most of the address are in the database!
