Last year, I found that I wasn't going to the gym as often as I should to make it cost effective, so I quit the gym and started to work out at home. I'm currently using the Wii and doing EA Sports work-outs (which include resistance bands to help with the work-out). I'll keep all those in mind. I'm enjoying the (rather slow) buildup in the Wii Fit Plus, but it's sometimes hard to get the mindless tunes out of my head! :-)

I didn't find the Wii Fit Plus good to replace working out in the gym, as it doesn't use any resistance equipment and it doesn't provide for changing workouts (just doing the same thing over and over unless you put a lot of effort into making a custom work-out). The EA Sports ones are good about mixing up work-outs so that you're not doing the same thing each time.
