Oh Faye! First time i read this I was sat in tears at the love James and Neil had for their poorly little girl who never complained about the way she was treated by her classmates.

The letters they received off Luke and Noah meant so much to them.

So that night something changed for those two young boys, a life changing one,

Great to see them being so proud of their live at shool!

Really moving story Faye indeed, so much emotion indeed, loved it, xxx

Thank you so much Lou, again for being my Beta and for encouraging me to write this story. Some of it was very personal to me and reliving it was hard, but I really wanted to get my message out there.

Ah, Faye, this was wonderful. We've all known people who've been bullied or we've been bullied ourselves. Add to that, two young boys trying for the first time to deal with death and loss. It was heartwarming to see them figure things as they went along and to see them move their relationship along from one plane to another. This is a story to be proud of.

I had a couple of other ideas for stories to submit, but this one fought it's way to the front of my brain and demanded to be told. With so many people I know losing loved ones and dealing with illness and tragedy I was put in the frame of mind to be able to write it. I am very happy with my choice.

Such a touching story, Faye and one you should be proud of. It dealt with very sensitive issues of bullying and coping with death at an early age in such a touching way.

I like how you took the boys on an emotional journey, seeing them dealing with how Caitlyn's death effected them and how their feelings for each other began to awaken.

Wonderful!

Sometimes it takes a tragic event to make people appreciate the loved ones in their lives. We don't tell them how much we love them and feel lost and guilty after they've died. Luke and Noah learned that lesson and also realized how much they really cared about each other. So glad you liked it Anne.

Superb story, Faye! I love the arc that you took young Nuke on, their journey of coping with the death of a brave victim of bullying, and coming to terms with their feelings for each other. The conversation with Caitlin's dads, the bedroom scene and the ending at school the next morning were all beautifully and masterfully written! Just wonderful!

I love the thought of a young Luke and Noah first realizing how they truly feel about each other. I imagine them feeling awkward and a little confused, but also feeling like their very lives depend upon each other. Thanks so much Jim for your glowing words :)
