i've always been curious about jim's reaction to failing the first two times he took the kobayashi maru, and this is a wonderful look into that. i loved how attuned bones was to what jim needed.

also, jim riding bones is seriously hot. this fandom needs MOAR!

I really liked this. I loved the backstory, the understanding between the two of them, and I can't help thinking that Jim 'silencing' Bones with his fingers is kind of symbolic. Also, seriously hot - yummy!

I really love how the need for reassurance and the need for control are so entwined in Jim here, how Bones is so willing to give Jim whatever he needs. And it was reeaaalllly hot, too.
